To use Frames, you need to install the Frames WordPress plugin. You also need to have Automatic.css installed and activated. Follow the steps below to get setup:
- Download the frames plugin from your account.
- Make sure you have ACSS 2.1 installed (minimum).
- Navigate to Bricks > Settings > SVG Uploads and turn on SVG uploads for administrators (and any other user level that may use Frames).
- Install and activate the Frames plugin on your website.
- Go to Automatic CSS > Frames License and activate your license key (Use the non-bundle key – usually the bottom one. The other one is for potential future functionality and can be ignored for now).
- Go to Bricks > Settings > Templates > Remote Templates and paste the following URL in the remote template URL field: https://bricks.getframes.io
- Paste your license key in the Remote Templates Password field, then save Bricks settings
- Make sure “Load Frames Styling” is turned on in the dashboard
ACSS Dashboard > Frames > Load Frames Styling. - It’s recommended to turn on all components in dashboard as well.
ACSS Dashboard > Frames > Components - Make sure “smart spacing” in the dashboard is turned on, as Frames are designed with this setting enabled.
ACSS Dashboard > Spacing > Smart Spacing - Open a page or template in Bricks and check that you can access the Remote templates.
Frames is now set up and ready to go!
